SNEFNUG is a super soft, light, airy and full-bodied yarn which exclusively consists of natural materials in an extra delicate blend of 55% baby alpaca, 10% extra fine merino wool and 35% organic cotton.

SNEFNUG is produced by an Italian family-owned spinning mill with consideration for both environment and animal welfare, thus the merino wool used, is of course mulesing free, and comes from South America. The baby alpaca is from Peru, and the cotton is from Egypt.

SNEFNUG is composed by a cotton tube, as the core, in which a fine and neat blend of merino wool and baby alpaca is blown into. Altogether, this gives a strong and at the same time, super soft and exclusive yarn.

SNEFNUG is particularly suitable for baby and children’s knitwear, as well as for the current trend of oversize knitwear on big needles for adults, as sweaters, cardigans, scarfs, and hats.

  • Materials: 55% baby alpaca, 35% organic cotton and 10% extra fine merino wool

  • Recommended gauge: 12-16 sts x 24 rows.

  • Recommended needles: 4.0 – 6.0 mm.

  • Weight / length: 50 grams = approx. 110 meters.

  • It is recommended to hand wash the finished work, using a wool detergent / Lay flat to dry.

LYSBEIGE 7314 (light beige) has a soft and pure hue, combined with an exquisite melange. The colour is a good choice if you want a timeless and classic look and an alternative to off-white.

MØRK ROSA 7338 (dark rose-pink) has a soft and warm colour with an exquisite and discreet light grey melange.

LYS ROSA 7357 (light rose-pink) is the lightest of the 7 hues in the red colour scale in SNEFNUG. LYS ROSA 7357 has a soft and pure rose-pink hue. The hue gives, together with the structure of the yarn, associations to pink clouds and candy floss.\

LYSE LILLA 7358 (light purple) has a beautiful, light, bright and cold purple hue on a light core, which gives a discreet melange and a beautiful play of colours in your finished work.

HINDBÆR 7861 (raspberry) is bright and strong. A beautiful pink with a light melange. The colour can be beautifully combined with the softest rose-pink hues.

CITRONGUL 7862 (lemon yellow) has a bright, soft and effective yellow hue, that lights up and gives a good contrast in your needlework

LIME 7863 (lime) has a bright and fresh green hue with a light core, which gives the yarn a discreet melange. LIME 7863 is the brightest of the 5 green hues in the colour card.

GYLDEN 7384 (golden) has a soft and warm, light mustard hue with a discreet melange. GYLDEN 7384 can be beautifully combined with the brown natural colours in SNEFNUG.

PUDDER 7386 (powder) is the darkest of the 3 rose-pink hues in SNEFNUG. The colour is warm and soft with an exquisite melange.

HAVGRØN 7864 (ocean green) is one of the 5 green hues in the colour card. The colour is soft, blue green on a light core, which gives a discreet melange with a beautiful play of colours.
